Jean-Claude Baudier expresses his long-lasting passion for motor racing - and more particularly the 24 Heures du Mans - by crafting "dioramas" on the most popular scale, 1 :43, as well as on 1:87 and 1:24 scales.
After studying applied arts and specializing in the design and construction of exhibition stands, he now heads up an 8 people-strong design agency.
To recreate the greatest moments of motor racing history in miniature is a logical extension of his original training.

Having collected miniature cars for many years, he became bored with their mere alignment in display windows. He therefore decided, in 1986, to make his models come alive, by including them in their racing environment and re-creating a freeze-frame of that unique atmosphere. His passion for diorama-making was born.
It is a passion Jean-Claude Baudier likes to share , as he did by contributing to Auto modélisme magazine, providing diorama enthusiasts with precious advice. He is now regarded as an expert in this field and has been featured on a famous French television programme called Turbo.
From the 1930s to today, from rally driving to Formula One, he covers all aspects of motor racing.
